You can't do much when people invade your room like this early in the morning but to just lie down and watch and get some of the positivee qi.

You see i get requests to write something here from mostly people who are stressed out from studies. So this will be another post like lets go chase shadows, also = plain nonsense from my rusty brain.

*stares at the computer screen real hard*

Tonight i don't get any inspiration even after staring at the screen for 10 whole minutes. I'll just list out some random stuff that comes to mind.

1# my sister gave me a weird look when i picked her up at the LRT station yesterday afternoon. the first thing she told me when she got up the car was : ' jie, just now i couldn't recognise you'

2# i was hooked on to teenage dream for quite some time. today a friend told me his friend got into a car accident while he was high on the same song. Good thing the radio in the car i drive doesn't work.

3# i don't know how to say 'no,thankyou' in Cantonese when people try to promote drinks and stuff in Cantonese at the supermarket, so i'll lift up my palm and say 'thankyou' in Cantonese. the palm means 'no' and the 'thankyou' means well thankyou. come to think of it now, i think its funny.

4# i think i never say 'you're welcome' when people say thankyou. i'll say 'thankyou'.

5# i feel like googling an address in Greece and send a parcel over. i'll put someee instant packet bah kut teh in and someee kopi sweets.

6# i always write the blog title after the blog post. now i'm having a real hard time thinking what to write for the title. so please ignore the title.

C for Calvin, H for Hobbes !

ahhh so far october have need really nice to me ! happy things came together-gether !
got my uni offer letter wohooooo !
went sing k for 4 hours today with my fav person in the whole wide world !
after sing k session we drove to amcorp mall *finally* to get calvin and hobbes ! mad happy !


Anyway, i think i have to introduce Calvin and Hobbes. Sooo Calvin and Hobbes is a comic strip written by the amazing Bill Watterson. Calvin is this little mischievous six year old, with out-of -this-world imagination, smart little fella and gets into trouble all the time. I love him for he is so smart and at the same time cheeky! oh and his imagination goes to outer space all the time :) and by that i love Mr. Watterson too. Hobbes is Calvin's tiger friend/soft toy ! They play together, get into trouble together, sometimes they don't get along very well but in the end still best friends.

Yeaaa i'm never good at explaining stuff, so don't bother, just go read the comic strip okayy ! You can find them easily from the internet otherwise they are in The Star newspaper's comic session everyday ! Hahhh i'm still feeling veryyyy happy i got 3 books of them :)

lets go chase shadows !

If i'm still not on my bed this time of the day, i'm either hungry, finishing last minute work, trying very hard to save an A for a test or i had a long nap in the afternoon. Tonight, i feel like speeding on a highway in the middle lane and blast music in the car.

But a more practical thing to do instead of wasting petrol would be to practise writing ABC with my right hand and teman-ing my beloved adik study for her test andd greet each other with panda eyes on friday.

I'm getting really hungry noww i can't think of anything to blah about anymore.

stir me up

Today i had a little conversation with a confused squirrel, basically asking that little fella to find his own way out of the house. I opened all sliding doors and every possible place for him to get out and he decided to bang on the glass door and hide in boxes, even jasper couldn't be bothered to chase him anymore. Poor little fella must be hungry and tired from all the hide and seek. Please leave i don't wanna pick up your poop no more. FYI squirrel eat fruits and their poop looks exactly like cat's poop and a little grassy.

My brain have not been supplied with stuff from textbooks now there's so much space to store rubbish and insignificant thoughts. Soon i'll need a dream interpreter to read my dreams, soon, when i can wake up and recall them.



yin just came back from the dentist, had scaling. i'm gonna make an appointment because she said it doesn't hurt and the dentist told her she had a special type of bacteria *black little stains* all over the back side of her teeth and she had been rare-ing them. She enjoyed it so much she said she wants to go see the dentist everyday. FYI it costs rm90

kimchi soup !

Went to KLIA last sunday to send off my bro. First time sending people off, not a good experience, came home with fluffy eyes. Another send off coming sunday, glad its just Nilai but still, its 1 hour away. After that i'll have to fuss on how many cup of rice to cook for dinner.

the kooks

Listened back to my old ancient play list and found this song, Naive by The Kooks. The guitar part at the beginning is just so catchy, my head, fingers and feet automatically nod and tap to the melody :) and the very cute British accent ! i have zero idea of the lyrics, until i went and googled it. It's really simple and it keeps repeating so i start singing it with the little accent and yin went "what is the lyrics about ?? even you sing i also cannot get it ! " HAHAHHAAA but sadly so far this is the only song that i really like from this band the others were too let's say indie for my liking.

Anyway this is one of the many awesome songs from One Tree Hill's OST ! They featured a few really good singers which i think most people haven't heard of, unless you watched one tree hill. Having said that, please check out Bethany Joy Lenz's 'songs in my pockets', 'when the starts go blue', 'Mrs Scott' , 'halo' and ALL Kate Voegele's songs !

summer project !

helloo ! today, yin and i sprayed her old ugly dark blue bike ! A few days back we went to this DIY shop and bought a can of this preeetyy baby pink spray, and today we decided to embark on a summer project ! we started off with just the pink colour .

Then we went inside the house and wait for the paint to dry and we look out of the sliding door staring at the bike discussing about the colour. It looks abit odd with the whole thing pink so we decided the basket have to be white and the metal thiggie near the tyres too. We wasted no time, went off to buy the white spray and get down to business.

We dismantled the basket and sprayed it separately ahh we are so smartt ! But, big mistake spraying the handle white. It looked really odd and in the end we sprayed pink on the white. Ohh and in the middle of that we made another trip to the shop to buy another can of white spray !

finishing touches ! which failed :( wanted to spray small little pink stars on the white background but the paint kind of drip off the star. so yeah, sprayed it back to white ! easy peasy ! hahah okayy lah now the end product !

tadaaa ! yin's spanky new pinky bike ! please say its prettyyy, thankyou ! anyway that basket with a big heart shape is jasper's special place !


ahh now i'm feeling very artsy fartsy, hands itchy. I feel like painting my room walls, its too plain and boring, maybe i'll paint some dove or butterflies ?? just a random idea and i have to get my father's 'nod' before i do anything to the walls. The other day i bought this window deco sheet from DAISO at IOI mall, officially my fav shop. They sell all kinds of Japan products ! From stockings, makeup stuff, food stuff, cooking utensils, stationary, home deco stuff and you know those veryy 'smart' made in japan product that just make you go ' ehh look at this, so cuteee!!! ' or ' omg this is soo usefull '. If i'm not mistaken, everything in that stall have the same price tag, RM 5. So yeahh, go check out ! ok back to topic. i'm gonna stick this deco sheet on my sliding door's glass panel, need some privacy hahaaha and to satisfy my itchy hands.
