yesterday night i called 911 for the very first time in my life !
it was around 9.45 at night and i was almost falling asleep and a loud bang woke me up. It wasn't really a BANG its more like the sound of glass shattering so i jumped up and looked out of my sliding door expecting to see a car accident at the back road but to my surprise everything looked normal and calm.
after running around the house looking out of every window we realised it was
from the house next door which is actually an office. The sliding door glass was shattered so we immediately suspect there's a break-in and a few other neighbours was already at the front gate trying to figure out what happened. The first thing that crossed my mind was shit later the thief try to escape from the back and jump over to my house how ????
so i ran back to my room and peeped from my sliding door. i was really worried if thief sees me he would shoot me or something so i hide behind the curtains but all i saw was tree's shadow moving in circles but why are the trees moving like that ?? i stared at those shadows and i realised there was SMOKE coming out of the neighbour's kitchen ! immediately told my dad or more like shouted and he confirmed it was smoke and alerted the other neighbours in front.

smoke + shattered glass = very very high pressure + GAS
i ran down and dialled 911 and the operator spoke sooo softly i shouted hello 3 times and hung up. i asked yin to dial again using her hand phone and we went outside and i tried calling 911 again and the operator asked for my name and address and stuff and she asked "ada apa kecemasan? " very very calmly and i said ada kebakaran and she asked " hutan ke rumah ? "
i was like WHAT ? WHAT HUTAN ???? thinking back about it now kebakaran hutan also happens so yeah ini kebakaran rumah ! by the time i finish answering her questions yin was already speaking to a fire fighter ! hahaaha btw when you call 911 and answer all the questions then they will connect your call to the appropriate department like the fire department or the hospital etc. and they do actually call back and follow up and make sure you managed to speak to a fire fighter or erm a paramedic ?
the fire engine arrived after around 5 minutes. not bad ? by the time they arrive the neighbours already managed to put out the fire and those fire fighters went in with gas mask and they checked the whole house and opened all the windows to let the gas out. quite professional i would say but their uniforms were very dirtyyyy ! hahahaaaaa
at the same time one big secret was exposed !!!
the police was called, they came and more and more keep coming and they only left in the morning ! its really serious and i don't think it's appropriate to talk about it here so....the end !
